The $TEPS Program
The Organization’s Mission:
The mission of The Financial $TEPS Network is to educate communities and individuals on the importance of financial wealth and security in order to create success that transforms lives in ways that are sustainable within and across generations.
Services:
The Financial $TEPS Network initial program will be called S.T.E.P.S; it is an acronym for STEPS Toward Empowerment, Prosperity, and Success.
The services will be performed in a classroom setting with a detailed curriculum for financial independence. A business projector and 70inch projection will be brought to each classroom presentations, along with the daily curriculum for each class. The curriculum will focus on excel pre-formatted budget templates, banking information (how to open a checking & saving account, how to write checks, and how to balance a check register), define accounting terms, explain interest rates, discuss the importance of home ownership, how to purchase assets, research and discuss Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), understanding credit and credit reports, and entrepreneurial development. The Presentations will also include an employment interviewing and resumé writing workshop.
The $TEPS Program Breakdown:
F$N would like to accomplish financial awareness and lasting wealth within inner-city youths and their families. As a goal, a Before and After Assessment Exam will be administered to measure growth and success within the program.
F$N values results-driven programs and our role as trustee in delivering programs that make a measurable difference. F$N believes it is critical to measure both the individual and collective impact of our training programs, services, and workshops.
F$N values integrity and transparency in the collection, evaluation, and reporting of program data that results in program improvements and effectiveness.

The $TEPS Program Breakdown:
- Each student will receive a packet containing: Class Presentations, Flyer, Brochure, Business Card, Intake Form, Before and After Assessments, and Instructor Performance Evaluation.
- 1-hour classes for 6-weeks per classroom
- During school hours. Timing will be based on teachers schedules per class
- School Year – August through June
- Summer Classes, and Summer Camp Programs – June through August
- Church Programs – Sundays, 1 hour a week for 6-week intervals
